MGS Collective is our wellness and beauty umbrella

Some Collective suite providers may collect information under their own
booking systems and privacy practices (for example, third-party
massage booking). When you leave our site to book with a suite provider,
their policy applies.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use our services, we may collect:
- Identity & contact data — name, email address, phone number, mailing address.
- Appointment data — service selected, preferred barber/stylist, date and time, notes you provide, cancellation or no-show history.
- Account data — username, password, profile preferences (if you register on the site or shop).
- Transaction data — order details, payment confirmation, shipping address for merchandise (when the shop is live). We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers when payments are processed by a payment provider.
- Communications — messages you send via phone, email, forms, or social media.
- Technical data — IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, referral source, approximate location derived from IP, and cookie/similar identifiers.
- Marketing preferences — for example, email signup for merch notifications.
We may also receive information from service providers that power our
website and booking tools (see Section 5).
3. How we use your information
We use personal information to:
- Schedule, confirm, remind, reschedule, or cancel appointments.
- Provide barbershop services and customer support.
- Process purchases, returns, and related customer service (when merch/shop is available).
- Operate, secure, and improve our website and online experience.
- Send transactional messages (booking confirmations, receipts, policy updates).
- Send marketing or “notify me” messages only where you have requested them or as permitted by law; you may opt out of marketing emails.
- Detect fraud, abuse, or security incidents and comply with legal obligations.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
Our site is built on WordPress and may use cookies and similar
technologies to:
- Keep you logged in and remember display preferences.
- Remember cart contents (when shopping is enabled).
- Understand site traffic and performance (analytics, if enabled).
- Support security and spam prevention.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling
cookies may affect login, booking widgets, or checkout.
5. Third-party services
We use trusted third parties to run parts of our business. These
providers process data on our behalf or as independent controllers of
their own services:
- Website hosting & WordPress — site delivery, content management, and (if enabled) user accounts.
- Online booking — appointment scheduling via our booking provider (currently Timely / GetTimely). Booking data is processed under that provider’s terms and privacy policy.
- Maps — Google Maps embeds for our Marietta location.
- Payments & e-commerce — WooCommerce and payment processors when you buy products online.
- Email / notify lists — if we connect merch “notify me” or marketing to an email platform.
- Analytics & advertising tools — if installed on the site (for example, traffic measurement).
- Suite booking platforms — Collective suite providers may use separate systems (such as MassageBook for massage or GlossGenius for cosmetology).
Embedded or linked third-party content (maps, booking widgets, social
media, partner sites) may set their own cookies and collect data under
their own policies.
6. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information:

- If required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
- In connection with a business transfer (for example, sale or merger), subject to appropriate safeguards.
7. How long we keep information
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes
described above, including appointment history, accounting, dispute
resolution, and legal compliance. Retention periods vary by data type
(for example, booking records may be kept longer than marketing list
preferences). When information is no longer needed, we delete or
de-identify it where practical.
